"This was my first time staying at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park but it certainly won't be my last. Lovely hotel, excellent gym / pool / spa facilities, plentiful parking, lovely food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely room with a huge window for lots of natural light. Highly recommended."

"Light bright rooms, overlooking fields with castle & sea in the distance. Plenty of parking at front of building. Sraff extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice both cold & cooked. There is an onsite cafe adjouning hotel which was ideal. They served hot & cold dishes, variety of sandwiches, cakes, puds etc. It is open 24/7 & used by passersby on A1. Very central for trips to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne etc. We would definitely recommend & will be making a return jorney...

"Grosses, schönes Hotel an optimaler Lage beim Bahnhof. Grosszügiges Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Leider war es Nachts sehr heiss und das Fenster konnte nicht genügend geöffnet werden, damit etwas kühlere Luft ins Zimmer gelangt. Das Bad war gross mit genügend Ablagefläche und Möglichkeiten die Duschtücher aufzuhängen. Leider lief der Duschtuchwärmer die ganze Nacht und konnte nicht abgestellt werden ( und es war eben schon sehr heiss im Zimmer). Der Wasserhahn ist so am Lavabo angebracht,...

"Hotel is situated behind the railway station and overlooking the Tyne so although not central it is still a good location. Easy parking, (use level 10) good pool and steam room, rooms spacious, good gin bar and full breakfast. Only stayed one night but would definitely recommend it. Shops, quayside, football, arena, restaurants all within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Easy access in and out of Newcastle west using the Redheuth bridge from A1. "
