Grapetree Bay Hotel & Villas
10/10 Excellent
"Very quiet, remote part of the island. Beach and forecast beautiful!! Sea turtles even laid their eggs on the beach. The beach is not swimmable, unfortunately. But that is not on the hotel! Highly recommend! "

Tamarind Reef Resort Spa & Marina
6/10 Okay
"CAUTION new ownership. Previous pix and descriptions are not necessarily accurate, menu is changed. Nickel and dime you in the restaurant, $20 omelette is $2 more for cheese, same with the $12 bacon, egg and cheese that they charge extra for the cheese. "

The Fred - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"Will book again. Great activity and beach"

Palms Resort and Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location with great views from every room, and nice common areas, including tiki bar, pool, sandy beach. Some supplies & amenities could be improved but such is island life. The staff were very kind & helpful. The restaurant food was great but could improve their plating, speed, and availability of items (they were out of a lot). Overall it was an excellent value & fairly convenient location to venture around the island from."

The Cove Hotel St.Croix
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, the staff is very welcoming and accommodating."

The Waves at Cane Bay
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location and view from room. Very modern, especially for St. Croix. Walkable to Cane Bay beach and 3 restaurants, a food truck and 2 bars. Clean room and property.
And unexpectedly, the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever had at a hotel!
The only downside was that the on site restaurant and bar have limited hours and seating and we didn't get water every day. Very minor complaints for an otherwise lovely hotel and tranquil location.

Carina Bay Boutique All Inclusive Resort & Casino
4/10 Poor
"This place is deceiving and the pictures make it into something it is not. It was all inclusive but that was just drinks and food. Breakfast and most of the food was always great but only if you come in the beginning when it is first put out. Come during the last hour and it is picked over and nothing else is put out and what is left is all there is. The resort or rather hotel because you have to have activities for a resort and at least a gift shop. There is absolutely nothing at this place and you have to make 3 hour reservation for a taxi tongo anywhere. The casino is a joke and only a block walk away but it is up a steep hill and after drinking not fun. I wouldn't ever stay here again and the island itself doesn't have much to offer. We should have gone to St. Thomas. Very disappointed with this trip. They have no watersports and you are trapped at the resort that has no souvenirs... they have nothing but free food and free bottom shelf bar. If you want hideout and not be seen and escape the world this is place because phone and internet is not the best either. If you do go there rent a car and I hope you know how to drive because they drive on the left and the speed limit the way people drive is just a suggestion and watch those potholes because they will take your vehicle out. Seriously don"t waste your money unless all you want is a nice view and to sit in your hotel room because you can literally do that on any nice beach anywhere!"

King Christian Hotel

"Cold AC, fantastic view. Luke warm shower."

Sand Castle on the Beach - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"The sand castle in St. Croix is amazing. It only let me give five stars. If I could give 100 I would. Everyone was so kind and friendly. There were two beautiful pools and plenty of beach, chairs and umbrellas to go around. The beach was just stunning and is steps from the hotel. They provide snorkeling, equipment, kayaks, chair, covers, and beach towels at no charge. We stayed in the Secret Haven Villa which was perfect! The management even brought in a mattress pad when the bed was a little hard on my back. We ate at the restaurant there several nights food was outstanding and so were the drinks. The hotel is less than a mile from the Frederickstead pier great views, shopping and restaurants. Take the advice of the hotel and rent a car but if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing vacation where you don’t have to go anywhere all you need is available at the Sand Castle! "
