Hotel is grand and beautiful. Buffet spread is quite good and plentiful. Location is excellent as the slope is just by the hotel.

It is a pretty dated hotel with nothing around. The staff try really hard but seem worn and jaded. The service is excellent despite that and they will literally move mountains for you if you asked for it. The suite we stayed in had a foul smell coming from the drainhole of the second shower. Otherwise the furniture is old and a little worn out.
The public onsen is OK with good water and facilities but the private onsen is not of acceptable quality. The walls and ceiling are black with mold and...

Sato san and Nora san were the perfect hosts for our 4-night stay. Food was very good and the pension was warm and cozy. Our room was spacious enough and had a wonderful view of sunrise and even part of Mt Iwaki. Our room package came with daily breakfast and dinner.
We felt we were staying with good friends and every dinner was pleasantly spent with Sato san, Nora san and fellow guests. Bon-chan was a delightful addition to the experience too. Sato san and Kazu san took turns to send or pick...
