"Not sure what qualifies as "excellent". Frankly I don't need to spend an extra $200 a night to have swan shaped towels. In my 5 city multi week trip this was my favorite hotel more so then the more expensive ones. Far and away (unintentional pun) the best sleep with the comfiest bed compared to the others. Short distance to downtown back and forth at around $16.50 each way. When I compared with others on Expedia it was almost 1/2 the price of the downtown chains. So our saving more than...

"This is a well-equipped hotel room. Unfortunately the room we were in needed the carpets cleaned by professionals and were filthy. I didn't even want to walk on them with my socks on. That is the only problem I had with the old place"

"Unique old building in walking distance to downtown and George St. As noted on their website, you can hear street noise from the rooms. The room was comfortable, the only issue we encountered was we were unable to connect with their Wi-Fi despite asking for assistance. "
