"The resort was decent, food was good and the beaches were stunning. Bahamas is awful, from the rip off taxis, to being harassed by vendors in Nassau, at the Fort, on the beach and Arawak Cay.
We stayed there 20 years ago and the island has transformed into one gouging tourist trap. With so many other options (Dominican, Mexico, Aruba, St. Kitts) who go to this dump of an island.
Nassau caters to cruise ships and has berths for 5 ships at one time. So everyone floods in for a few hours and...

"Quick trip but wonderful resort. Walking distance to a gym, grocery store, coffee shop, restaurant. Had a kitchen in our unit. Beach and the lagoon were equally as beautiful! Enjoyed the pool. Short cab ride into downtown Nassau. Bus is also available. Don't forget to check out the fish fry district. Will return with our kids!"

"Overall, my wife and I had a great experience. The location was excellent, with everything within walking distance of the downtown area, making it easy to explore the city without needing a car. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the view of the cruise ships at the port. We enjoyed watching them dock in the morning and depart in the evening—it was a unique and relaxing experience. "Hotel and grounds have definitely not been updated in a very long time. The pics are probably from when the hotel opened and are not accurate at this time. Found someone’s night cap behind the bedside table and small ants in the room.
Staff was very nice and had an enjoyable time in the bar area. Excellent seafood quesadillas!"

"We were highly disappointed with this stay. We expected the usual brand standard, but this property felt more like a budget motel. "Beautiful grounds on the hotel property. It is across from a beautiful beach. Nice pool. Extremely helpful, caring staff. Was great to have a restaurant at this hotel with good food. I would definately stay again if I'm ever in Nassau. 5 stars!!"
