(One thing to note: the windows have plantation shutters, which does let in a bit of light at night even when closed. We always travel with our own travel black out curtains in cases like this.) "

"This was a return visit to Golden Haven, and it's a great go-to choice. Rooms are spacious, clean, and the property is in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to town. Nice extras behind the property: ping-pong table, bocce ball, cornhole, and bicycles. The office staff is always friendly. I'd suggest water bottles in the room as Napa water (not just at this facility) is not the best tasting, but there is a water filtration station near the office. Look forward to our next visit. ...

"breakfast was ok, needed fresh fruit to be added. I felt safe inside the hotel but the parking lot was a concern. Big signs saying the hotel was not responsible for loss or stolen vehicles. The bed was wonderful! "

"We had 2 rooms in our group, both on different floors, lower floors (1st and 2nd) and in both cases people were pounding above our rooms. We feel like the floors were thin. However, great location, on the riverwalk and near town, excellent. Sweetie Pie restaurant attached was excellent benefit."
