"Amazing location on the river. I found myself watching ships pass day & night. The food & menu were really good, plenty to choose from. Good Chefs, who clearly enjoy what they do. I will return if I am in the area again."

"The accommodation is featured within a ship cabin room with modern comforts. The room that I stayed was big, suitable for two guests. The hotel provides shuttle van to Rijnhaven metro station, only learnt that on third day though. Overall a pleasant and memorable stay!"

"The hotel was clean and everything worked like it was supposed to, which is unfortunately not so common. The AC worked great and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. My room was clean and quiet."

"Styling of hotel was very good and location great especially if you are taking a cruise. Room was clean but shampoo and gel were empty and they could clean the towel bar and tissue holder. Other than that the staff was friendly and they did accommodate an early check-in for us."

"I have first used A&O in Edinburgh when they first opened the hostel few years ago. I was very impressed how nice and clean the facilities were. We just stayed me and my sister in A&O in Rotterdam. The standards are still the same. The breakfast is good standard continental breakfast. 10-15 minutes walk from the central station. Thank you staff. Very helpful and they looked after our baggage’s from 10 am until after 5 pm"

"Room very clean and comfy bed. I did not like the courtains, the were not dark to sleep in a nice way. I understand Netherlands they don't use them but I can not sleep in a bright environment. Also, the pressure of the shower was a bit low. Breakfast was amazing with nuts and good choise."

"While it was kind (and odd) to be upgraded but without access to the M Lounge, it really didn't matter. The staff working The Pillars were all superb - particularly Maressa who kindly helped me improve my Dutch language skills. As the other 'front of house' for the hotel they are an absolute credit and I hope are recognised as such.
