"This is what I refer to as an historical property. It consists of a group of stately mansions on the Vecht river. I am originally from Holland and choose the property to have my American wife experience a little bit of a time when Dutch merchants traded around the world. She very much enjoyed our stay."

"Prachtige omgeving om te fietsen. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Lekker ontbijt. Bedden sliepen heel goed. Alles prima. "

"The property has some issues which are we were told IHG policy. For example there is no way to communicate with the front desk as there is no phone in the room. Therefore in case of emergency ' one could get ill ' and have no way to communicate. When we asked the question in this regard the person on duty stated if you get sick there is nothing to be done. This is Company policy. RIDIULOUS ! Another example we needed some additional towels. The only way to get these I had to take the elevator...

"The location can’t be beat! I really enjoyed my stay with my view of the canals and easy access to sites and transportation. Would give five stars, but I had a refrigerator that didn’t work and after reporting it there was no follow up. There was also a lot of construction going on in the lobby and at times some of the services were not available. I would stay here again."

"Convenient Short over night AirPort hotel. IT has free bus Shuttle to and fro AirPort and breakfast and other meals available. Also nearby is the bus terminal for buses into Amsterdam city"

"The tram room has bed bugs in there. We couldnt sleep at night and had to leave the room at 5 AM because the bed bugs were biting us non-stop. My wife is taking medication for all the itching they caused, its red and swollen. Avoid this hotel at all costs please for your own well being."

"Comfy bed and pillows, and clean bathroom. The hotel staff were all very helpful, and even made us a very good morning coffee in the lobby! The Vondel is an ideal location for walking to the Van Gogh and the Steidlijk Museums, and plenty of nice food around the area. Also easy to hop on a bus to the airport."
