Aside from the room itself being cramped and expensive for the size due to being located at the airport, the CitizenM has other good things going for it that more than make up for the downsides: good food at the restaurant and not too expensive, very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice main floor to relax on all help keep that rating boosted. The room was still very well maintained and very clean. However, next time I’d probably stay...

"3rd time staying here, perfect location close to the metro and easy to get into Centraal. Rooms are perfect however my only complaint this time is that the cleaning of the room when we arrived wasn’t great. There were loads of eyelash extensions on the floor by the bin and table as well as a lot of dust/crumbs which was slightly disappointing but didn’t affect my stay at all or my opinion of the hotel. It’s 10/10 every time but the cleaning did let them down this time "

"The staff was fantastic, especially Olivia, who was very helpful when we arrived. The hotel is in a very convenient location and seemed quite safe. Very close to Rijksmuseum & Van Gogh. Our room was small but very clean, as was the bathroom. There are a lot of restaurants nearby but avoid Momo unless you want to eat with noise canceling headphones because they have a 50 year old want to be DJ blasting out techno beatbox noise at unbearable decibels all through the dinner hours."

"Very quirky place to stay, we thought the room being behind the bookcase was really cool! I wasn’t as a fan of the photos on the ceiling though Overall I can’t complain about the place, the staff were nice and the shared bathrooms were perfectly clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast here as well. The only things I wasn’t as keen on (small room etc.) I already knew before going and was advertised as such, so that’s my own problem really! Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget hotel in...

"Debated giving 4 stars but decided to round up to 5. Aside from the room itself being cramped and expensive for the size due to being located at the airport, the CitizenM has other good things going for it that more than make up for the downsides: good food at the restaurant and not too expensive, very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice main floor to relax on all help keep that rating boosted. The room was still very well maintained and very clean. However, next time I’d probably stay further away from the airport for both a bigger room and cheaper price. "
