"Clean room with clean towels etc. Food was good but disappointed with gluten free options. Breakfast had the same very dry GF bread and same muffins very morning. Home made GF rolls available at dinner, were delicious but not always available . The dinner food options of meat, vegetables and salads was very good. Christmas dinner though, was a bit disappointing. Friendly staff. Visitors must be aware that costs charged for entering and leaving Kruger Park can mount up, plus manual firm filling...

Dullstroom is evidently the highest town in South Africa at well over 2000 metres above sea level. As such it is somewhat cooler than most of the country and provided a welcome respite. We would have no hesitation in recommending Critchley Hackle and hope to return ourselves next year."

"The day after we got there our neighbors woke up so early and their car was pumping music nonstop I eventually called the Reception after 2 hours was told that they would send Securities into the place. Was so disappointed that there is no wi fi coverage in the rooms even in the Restaurant area you must sit in a certain area, that for me was a no no my kids wanted us to move out immediately we realize that we were screwed.
