"This place is HORRIBLE. Paid 76 dollars for there to be BUGS ON BUGS ON BUGS. They were literally everywhere. My boyfriend and I had to sleep in my car. When we asked the staff for a different room there were bugs in that room also. They said they were aware of the bugs but couldn't do anything to help. Yet still let everybody check in, made no one aware of the bug situation, and had a strict 15-minute no-refund rule once you got the room, even though they knew about the bugs."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Baymont by Wyndham Grand Rapids Airport. My mother had not been on an airplane in almost 20 years, and understandably she was very nervous about both flying and staying in a hotel.
This was especially important because we arrived around noon and were unable to check in until the standard 3pm check-in time. While we were fortunate to spend some time with our children and grandchildren while we waited, it was still a bit nerve-racking.

"All staff members were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The facility was exceptionally clean. We did have a smaller room than our norm, yet it was comfortable and clean. It also has a minimum fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was outstanding."

"Clean room. Good price. Friendly, helpful staff. Just needed a place to crash for the night after playing a show in Michigan City, Indiana and this was on our way back to Detroit so it worked. Slept 3 guys with 2 queens a pretty comfy pullout bed in the room. Plenty of hot water. Had HBO and good movie selections on TV."

"We have stayed here when it was a Hol. Inn Exp. Since then it has been renovated to an IHG Hotel Indigo. As it’s downtown Detroit, you have a hefty valet parking amt (40/nite). It is in walking distance to all entertainments: Ford Fld, Comerica, The Fox and LCA. Breakfast was very good, but it took a while for the food to arrive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner ate not included, but it is a restaurant, not a buffet. Room was an ADA compliant suite: needed towel racks in the bath and twin...

"For a night, not a bad deal.
The room, two queens and a pullout, was spacious and was neatly arranged. Fridge was dirty in the first room, Ac had issues too but the staff had a secondary room ready and was, again a nice layout and neatly done.
The staff was somewhat around at a later hour, did take a minute to find someone on a later check in, otherwise wasn’t bad service at all.
Only marks are for the dirty fridge and AC, but far from the worst stay, good option."
