"We really enjoyed staying here. Obviously, the water park is a great feature & must-do as a hotel guest. The in-house restaurant was also very convenient, as well as the free breakfast buffet during the mornings. Great experience & will stay here again on my next trip."

"Check in was smooth and room was clean with two queen bed. We were three adults, it was just nice. We stayed one night on our way to Seattle. It is a cheap and nice place for overnight stay."

"Consistently reasonable rates, especially in comparison to other hotels in Rapid City and the surrounding area; clean, comfortable, ample-sized rooms; and the employees are always friendly, respectful, professional and helpful, especially the housekeeping department and Adam (Matthew?). And I love the full breakfast! Sonesta Essential has become my go-to hotel for my regular trips to Rapid City. Thank you so much!"
