"Amaloh Boutique Resort offers a very relaxing holiday experience. The staff are very welcoming; the accommodation is oversized and very comfortable; the swimming pool is terrific for being able to swim laps; the oceanfront location fabulous with kayaking and ocean swimming available . We were two couples, from Norway and Australia) and we absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Perfect for a three night stay after travelling around the highlands of Sri Lanka."

"We stayed here 4 nights and it was fantastic! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. The food was good, served at tables under the shade of the coconut trees by our waiter, Karu, who was always attentive and polite. One day we requested a special meal of fresh fish for dinner (must be requested at breakfast time), which the chef cooked to perfection and served at the time of our choosing that evening. "I loved my stay here, as the room was spacious and clean. The bed was super-comfy, with a medium-hard mattress. Slept SOOOOO well. Get the breakfast to start your day well - fruit plate, Sri Lankan omelette, coffee, tea, juice. The staff speak moderate English, and will make every attempt to ensure your stay is comfortable. Although this establishment is located well Google Maps is NOT to be trusted! Maps will take you to a location over the nearby creek (which stinks during the day)....

"This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc..
