"This B and B type of hotel is a hipster-type of location. There is yoga and dining options with a focus on being next to the beach. The location and hotel itself is nice enough. There were a few issue like not having a hairdryer, huge problems with the final bill (keep an eye on what you are being billed for), no drinking water in the room, etc. All of those things could be remedied with some operational standards and training. What absolutely disgusted me was the way the white team...

"Amaloh Boutique Resort offers a very relaxing holiday experience. The staff are very welcoming; the accommodation is oversized and very comfortable; the swimming pool is terrific for being able to swim laps; the oceanfront location fabulous with kayaking and ocean swimming available . We were two couples, from Norway and Australia) and we absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Perfect for a three night stay after travelling around the highlands of Sri Lanka."

"This is newly opened hotel so everything looked nice. The room was big and nicely equipped. It was clean but the next morning we were negatively surprised seeing rat in our room coming out from our toilet. The service was good and staff was very hospitile but it was visible that they are still learning how to do the business. Namely when coming to hotel our room has been given to other family so we have got another one untill they have settled ours. Although we have not been disturbed by noise...

"I loved the staff honestly they were super friendly with my daughter and me… My daughter was very comfortable with davinda. She became good friends with the surf instructor Kyle and loved the surfing experience she had with him making it one of the most wonderful experiences she had … The chef was extraordinary there making sure I tried authentic Sri Lankan food … Over all I’m definitely visiting them again when coming to Sri Lanka … The resort was out of this world honestly…"

"Lovely one night stay here. Room was luxurious and the place felt cozy, like your own private villa at the beach. Great food at the restaurant. Only downside was that the beach was not really a "swimming" beach as the waves too strong and rocks in the ocean, but there is a nice pool and Mirissa beach nearby. Would definitely stay here again!"
