"I stayed at the Read House off and on for more than 2 weeks. Each check-in was a pleasure. I have been in the travel industry for many years and know a gem when I see it. This historical hotel has the most accommodating caring staff…which is rare to find these days. Rooms are beautiful and location in downtown Chattanooga is perfect. Thank you Read House for making a difficult time in my life easier ❤️ "

"Felt so homey and the staff was spectacular! Only downside to this hotel was that they didn't have any laundry services or microwaves to heat up food, as guests who stayed multiple nights we ordered extra food from the restaurant then ended up wasting quite a bit."

"The hotel was very clean My only complaints are paying for parking and you couldn't always find a spot near yoir room, the pool area felt like a sana cause there wasn't a way for wind to blow out there. The pool was nice. "

"Located in a convenient area, easy access to freeway , minutes away from downtown and other attractions. Hard to find staff for towels or to ask questions but overall this was a good clean pet friendly and safe place to stay while vacationing with family. "

"I had a little hiccup with my reservation. I was asked to speak to the manager before checking out. He was so nice and apologized for the error and adjusted the rate for my 2 night stay. Staff were all very friendly. Would stay there again. "
