"Saw Nyein San was the highlight of our entire trip to Myanmar. The amazing, friendly, generous staff run a very clean, comfortable guesthouse, and are very helpful with any travel needs. Our room was clean, insect-free, and had strong A/C - everything you'd want in a Burmese guesthouse. Also, the staff makes an incredible breakfast that we looked forward to each day in Bagan - definitely try their mohinga and Shan noodles! Delicious fresh fruit and fruit juices, snacks, and other foods too,...

"The property is dated, the grounds are well kept and the pool is inviting but very very cold. I was the only guest in the hotel. I booked online with no issue but when I checked in the owner insisted on cash only. I had the cash but not what I was expecting. There was not hot water to shower with. The bed is very old and uncomfortable you can feel every spring in the mattress. I would not recommend this hotel. "

Get away to relaxing Old Bagan! Enjoy the riverfront, temples and bars.

A year in the making..... I got the shot I wanted after a lot of research, 17’000kms and a week of travel, a very early morning, a sketchy, sandy motorbike ride and a little bit of blind luck in the form of a local kid who pointed me in the right direction. These are the Balloons over Bagan, Myanmar.
