"We had an exceptional stay at Kurumba! It was our first time in the Maldives, and the hotel was only a 10 minutes boat ride from the airport. The room was excellent, spacious and clean, with direct beach access. The bathroom was large and had an outdoor shower area. The Kurumba staff went above and beyond to ensure we had fantastic stay. For example they decorated the room for our honeymoon and on my wife's birthday they brought her a cake. The

was good, they give you towels for the beach, and the air conditioning works perfectly, but the photos doesn’t match exactly as the ones advertised on hotels.com and not even similiar to the ones in google maps (it shows a swimming pool that doesn’t exist) it’s a few blocks from the prison and next to a mosque so prepare for the 430am prayers from really loud speakers, also there is doing a super loud construction of a building next door "

"We really loved the small and intimate feel of the resort. The staff really went out of their way to create a great experience for all the guests. One of the highlights of this location is their home reef just steps from the beach. They will give you snorkel equipment and if the weather had been nicer when we stayed (during August Monsoon), I could have spent the whole day out there.
