"From arrival to departure, the stay at Founders Lodge was superb. The Pod room has an amazing view over the Game Reserve (even from the shower!). Food is exceptional, and serving lunches and dinners from different locations within the Lodge/grounds was a nice touch. All staff are friendly, polite and good at what they do! "Downtown area, a bit rundown, but wide street and Hotel is situated close to Bars and restaurants, there is a bottle shop next door and so could be a sound issue (no double glazing). Air-conditioning was excellent, one of the best I have had outside of USA.Hotel is a bit dated, but staff are friendly and helpful, only bed issue was it was 2 singles pushed together but made up as 2 singles, so a bit cramped."

The main lodge and rooms are of a high standard and beautifully decorated, but the management and staff are in need of training. Everything is very slow.....s"
