"This was a hugely disappointing stay. We had spent two nights on the other side of the river on our way down through France and had hoped for better things. Our experience was that we were 'end of season', that staff had lost interest in their guests. We had a very matter of fact welcome and from then on may as well not have been in the hotel. Apart from being,reluctantly, served a drink we were totally ignored for the duration of our stay, hence we chose to eat elsewhere.
