"Excellent adventure "

"This place is under construction out of town and very poor conditions"

"Lovely lodge, lovely staff, abundant wildlife"

"So it’s not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesn’t matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was. Iquitos is a rowdy town. It’s lively with a lot of hustle and bustle. This property is not: it is serene. I loved it so much, I ended up staying an extra night. "It was amazing to go and stay there. Once in a lifetime. The showers only had cold water but during the hot days they were perfect. You get very close to the wild life, we even had a tarantula in our room. Definitely worth experiencing "

" Very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is good, fresh juice and coffee. Every room has A/C and clean."

"Great little sanctuary within the city. The property is large with surrounding walls so it is quiet apart from birds and nature sounds despite being in the city. The room was so cute and ac worked very well. No hot water but you definitely don't need it in Iquitos. The breakfast was very good and served to your door - bread with jam, eggs, plantains, fresh juice, and coffee."

"Conveniently close to everything"

"I traveled with my family to the Cumaceba lodge. We stayed for three nights and four days. We had an amazing Amazon experience! Our guide Dixon was fabulous! He made our stay even better by his experience and knowledge of the area, animals, and flora. The 2 to 3 excursions per day kept us busy and always wanting to find more wonders of the rainforest. I would truly recommend this lodge if you are wanting a hands-on experience of the Amazon."
