"This beautiful hotel is very grand and is still very classy. It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. The staff are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. "

"We unfortunately stayed for just one night on Thursday, 23 October 2025, on our way back to Joburg, but it was a truly perfect experience, just as we had hoped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is beautiful, safe, and enveloped by a lovely forest. We were overjoyed to receive an upgraded room for our special occasion, celebrating my partner’s 64th birthday, which made our stay even more memorable. "The place is good cause we needed privacy and away from town, but the place was not clean. In the bathroom the arr spider webs and ant hills under basin. We stayed for 2 days and the linen was not changed, the was dust on the study table and the pedestals. When you drain water from the tub or flash the is a awful smell dont know from where. But the receptionist Melody, she was the best 10/10."
