" Considero importante tomar en cuenta que no queda cerca de la playa. Queríamos hacer late check out pero no lo permitieron indicando que no tenían habitaciones a pesar de que por esta app tenían varias opciones de habitaciones disponibles. No se puede tener alimentos, hielera o similar en el área de piscina. En resumido si solo deseas descansar es una opción. Sin embargo las estructuras tienen un serio tema de acústica y todo ruido se potencia y desde las 6am se escucha ruido del personal....

"NO DOOR IN BATHROOM can be an issue. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance from the center of Puerto Viejo. However, we had an issue upon arrival. We booked a room for three adults, and the photos on Expedia clearly showed a bathroom with a door. Instead, they tried to give us a room with no door to the shower or toilet, and the beds had a direct view into the shower. This was never mentioned anywhere. "Our stay at Samasati was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys. I love that it was removed from the fast pace of the road and beaches, but close enough to spend the day out and about. "
