"El personal es muy amable y voluntarioso. Las instalaciones generales son feas, de apariencia descuidada. El wifi tiene inconvenientes y la luz suele cortarse pero es algo habitual en la isla y no un problema del hotel. Las habitaciones son limpias, dignas, con ropa de cama aceptable y relativamente cómodas. La ubicación es practica a mitad de camino entre el ferry y la playa. No es un establecimiento memorable ni tampoco un desastre. Solo un lugar de precio accesible que no es lindo ni pretende...

"The staff were incredible! They mostly spoke passing, to good English with even a couple excellent. My Spanish is still terrible despite my best efforts. The pools were awesome! This was my first trip to an adults only resort and that was such a refreshing experience. Being able to just go to the pool and hang out with other adults and just have a nice relaxed time. It also meant being able to play more adult themed games that involved alcohol and such. I’m sober and still had a blast. The bad was mostly just the beach itself. It looks like much of it has eroded away. You can find patches of beach you can spread out on but I doubt much. That’s not specific to the resort. That appeared to be the majority of the resorts along there. I didn’t want to rent a car. The driving in Mexico is a whole other level of aggressive than anything we have in the US. This resort was perfect for that. 5th Avenue is a block away from the resort. Tons and tons of stores and stalls. Even some big names like H&M, Victoria’s Secret, Crocs and others. The Walmart is also within walking distance. I think it was like 3 or 4 blocks if you want “normal” items and not pay a premium for them. There’s a very heavy police and military presence. I didn’t feel afraid of them or like something was going to happen. They appeared to be there to reassure tourists. They were friendly and helpful. The resort is fairly close to lots of day trips to do. Strongly recommend and want to go back soon!"

"Beautiful resort, very clean. The room was perfect for us. Only wish was there was a second bathroom. It was super spacious so that wasn’t the issue, just not having a second toilet with 4 people in the room (2 kids/2 adults). The “restaurants” were great food, staff and ambience. Problem was availability. Between long lines and Conflicting information (what time and day) on the website and on site made extra trips/walking tiresome. The hibachi spot was the best followed by the Italian spot and Los Loiros. Buffet was solid but between the lines and inconsistent “opening times” it was annoying. There isn’t any line that etiquette which was frustrating when you have kids who were waiting for food. Ask for extra meals/portions and they are on the smaller side (restaurants). The upsell on the timeshare was interesting but not pushy. Wasn’t on site for 24 hours and already was getting the sales pitch. The “reward” was a nice touch. Good offer there. The price for bug spray and sun tan lotion was crazy expensive at the shop. Water park was great for the kids. No lines, plenty of space and served food during lunch times. Made the stay worth instead of packing up and going to the room to change etc. The beach is non existent. This resort isn’t known for the beach but it had a nice ambiance a night. Despite the complaints above, it was a great stay. Would definitely recommend this resort to others and it is very kid friendly. It is upcoming and work in progress. Kieve was fantastic."
