"The Grand Hotel is superbly located. As I entered the lobby, I was warmly greeted and advised of the location of breakfast and also the times On arrival at my room I was immediately impressed by the amount of space I had and how richly furnished and decorated it was. "The staff were fabulous and the highlight of this hotel, beautiful historic property in a great location Bed was comfortable, breakfast had great and plentiful options. Washroom was horrible. Shower /bathtub was so thin a hairbrush barely fits in the width of it at the front. Had to shower sideways. Handheld clip broken so needed to lay it on the floor of the tub to wash then pick it up after. Large faucet/handheld/rainfall shower head multifunction controls confusing to use."

"We’ve been staying at Begs Hotel for the fifth time over the past 2 years, with each stay lasting at least a week. Previously, we were given a good-sized room with three wardrobes, giving enough storage space for 2 people staying for a week. The rooms we had previously stayed in had also been recently renovated. This time, however, we were given a smaller room with only 1 wardrobe, and it hadn’t seem to be renovated. As we were staying for a week again, having enough storage space was crucial...
