"Fansipan is a comfortable, older hotel with large rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast buffet and menu is delicious. The rooftop pool is warm and has great views. The pool deck furniture is mostly wood and does not have cushions, so bring something cushy to lay on. Great views of the mountains."

"Locating 5-10 mins walk from the very centre of the sapa town but still a variety of restaurant, souvenir shops and tourists agencies close by. Being at the edge of the sapa town there is the breathtaking view from the balcony of the room, which I believe is what most of the visitors came to enjoy.
