"Staying here is definitely a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived we were told not to worry about checking in and to get a drink and relax. Rooms were ready and amazing. The Bar tender is also amazing. All drinks were made from fresh squeezed fruits and he also made some of his own mixes. The best Mojito I have ever had. We also brought in fish that we caught the day before and the chef hooked us up with a full lunch of different types of dishes with all the fish. That evening for dinner they had a table by the rooms for us and served us outside with amazing meals. I would definitely recommend staying here as it is definitely of the beaten path. All staff were like family and the entire property is super clean. Hope to come back and stay again. "

"The room was spotless, simple and very comfortable. The bed (mattress) was soooo comfy! We had a beautiful view of the street from our room through a Juliet balcony. The hotel is boutique in style so it's smaller, much more intimate. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did take advantage of heading over to their sister hotel on the beach and had a great afternoon's in having margaritas poolside ~ thanks Carlos!, and having a private cabana (free) to lounge around on all day. We ordered food out there and the rib eye tacos were delish!"

"yes they were very clean and comfortable, and very hot water. I loved it. the only issue I had was that there was to much light in the morning. They need darking curtains. "

"We had a great stay here. Staff is primary reason, close second is the location. It is expensive relative to other options or other beach side resorts along the California/Baja coast. One big reason is Baja/Mexico has a large tax on items - rooms 33%, cars & food/15% by my best estimation. Staff seemed to love their jobs, cared about our stay and enjoyed engaging with us - maybe more humoring us : ). Rooms were fantastic, comfortable and I can't express enough how nice it was to have the roof top. There is a hot tub (not shallow) along with a fire pit and a large lounge couch with umbrella...great space. Food is good for the most part, some hits and some misses, but overall good...again, just note there's a 15% charge on top of the menu price. "

"This was my second stay at Guaycura, and I'm sure it will noy be my last. The staff went out of thier way to make the stay comfortable. Rodrego and Denise helped with ground transportation and were always friendly and welcoming as we came and went, making my stay pleasant. Thank you guys so much!!!"
