"The hotel is perfectly located, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Malbork Castle box office. Free parking right at the hotel was also a big plus. The building itself is quite old, both outside and inside, and there is no elevator, which might be an issue for some guests (especially those with heavy luggage or mobility needs). On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast was also outstanding – one of the highlights. Overall, a good choice if you’re mainly visiting Malbork Castle and don’t mind staying in a historic property."

"On my last of three nights there was a party in the conference room behind reception. I went down to reception at 10pm (what I would expect to be considered “silent hours” in Poland) and said I could hear the bass coming up through the walls. The ladies were quite dismissive and said they’ll have the music turned down. It still hadn’t been turned by midnight and I had to go down to complain. By this time my cortisol levels were so high I had trouble sleeping even once the music had been switched off. Apart from this one incident everything else was fine, although the shower head and rail in the bathroom definitely need replacing."
