Kusini Hotels with Swimming Pools

"We have been to The Residence several times before and have really enjoyed it and so were very keen to return this time. It was just approaching the rainy season and so it was rather quiet with the majority of the guests already going home but, on the whole, we still had good weather with only rain once during the day. All of the staff were, as always, so friendly and helpful from the warm welcome at reception when we arrived to the staff in the restaurants, Hellen, Farida, Sulesh, to name but a few to the driver of the buggy taking you anywhere around the resort and from your villa to the restaurants. Bicycles were provided at each villa and were in good condition. The villas are set in beautiful surroundings and have their own private plunge pools which are regularly checked for water quality and the main pool is wonderful for swimming or just cooling down from the heat. All in all, we had a wonderful visit again. "

"Wonderful small hotel. We stayed at the Bungalows and the rooms, while basic, were lovely. The fan made up for the lack of air on and the bed was best most comfortable I’ve ever slept on while on holiday. The views were fabulous as we were right on the beach. What really made it so good though were the staff. Wilhelmina, Simba and Evelyn were truly amazing. They are lovely people, hard working and caring for our every need. I can definitely recommend this place if you want a wonderful holiday"

"To call this hotel a 4 star hotel is a disgrace to actual 4 star hotels; it is maybe 3 stars in its best days, more realistically 2 stars. The amenities themselves are dated, and there is no dependable electric. I had to have the maintenance team come to my room 3+ times to reset the electric for the AC, water heater, etc, before finally just giving up and surrendering to the heat. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere in Paje, there are much nicer properties to choose from. I’m convinced the other reviews on here are fake because they in no way reflect my experience there. "

"Absolutely amazing experiences. The beaches in the area are not amazing (although are very nice at high tide), but that said the hotel itself is enough of a destination to make it perfect for an extended stay. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The hotels amenities itself are far beyond the 3 star standard listed, especially given the local standards. Really stands out against all the local experiences. "

"The staff were fantastice. Unfortunately we cannot rate this resort better because the pool was unusable. The large adult pool was being used by a child who pooped in it everyday. We brought it to the attention of the owner who assured us they would address it. The next day the child again pooped in the adult pool. Upon check out, we watched the dad, mom and child trying to remove the poop from the adult pool for the third day in a row. We came to the conclusion that this was a daily occurence. And therefore we could not use the pool. I would suggest a sign stating adult only. And please enforce the rule! It ruined our stay at this resort. There was a kids pool there. Just unfortunate that this child was using the adult pool as his toilet. At least a childs pool would be easier to clean. This family was a long stay. So we witnessed it happen each day. It would be happening for another two weeks. "

"We stayed 4 nights. We did not have any toiletries in our room until the last night we were there. Our room felt like it was actually cleaned. The resort has potential to be a really great resort. Management of it really lacks. We had one outside light out of a possible 3. Lights burnt out inside the room. It could use proper management."
