"I’ve stayed here probably a dozen times: it’s my favorite hotel in Louisville. The location and art museum are real pluses. I park on the same street as the hotel. You’ll find me at the bar sipping a special bourbon manhattan while eating my absolute favorite burger!
The only thing I’m not real happy with is the $100 per stay dog fee."

"If you’re interested in historical stays in places that have restored/kept up with the original architecture, then The Brown would be an excellent place. We loved all the architecture and would say don’t be afraid to explore the hotel as a whole. The staff were wonderful, the food was exquisite, and the cleanliness was good. There was however, a build up of dust on some of the pictures throughout but some is to be expected."

"I booked on Expedia and didn’t realize I would get a studio suite. I always get a 2 room suite at this hotel brand and didn’t know they had different. The sofa bed and regular bed were right next to each other. So no privacy for us and our 21 year old son.
When I did a quick review the hotel manager called and offered us a bigger room for the second night which was very nice of them and unexpected.
The room itself was a little dark, facing an inside courtyard. The couch was a little torn...

"Basic functional room which was comfortable enough, with paid parking @$8 per day.
Towels and bath mat were stained and needed to be changed on arrival, which staff helped with, despite saying they were for the floor and this is why they were stained!
Toilet was chocked up on a slant, and property could do with a face-lift paint wise.
Good location for exploring a bit with local bars and restaurants nearby."

"This is the nicest Red Roof I have ever stayed at. The rooms could not have been any cleaner. The beds were firm and comfortable and for the price I paid for the room, I could not be any happier."
