"What started off as a continuation of a great trip to Louisville quickly devolved when we checked into The Galt. Immediately, there was no where to pull in and check-in, so we had to park and come upstairs to the lobby. When we got checked in they put us in the tower across the street, but would only give us parking for the east tower. Every time we had to go to our car, we had to go up one floor, change elevators to go up to 3, go across the atrium to our building and into another elevator that...

"Lovely, well-maintained property with professional, helpful staff. The restaurant is fantastic, and make sure you get a croissant! The only imperfect aspect was the valet parking which took an impossibly long time. I think I might still be waiting in that line..."

"#1)They checked us into a room that was already being used. We went in the room and someone’s stuff was in the room! #2) After we got a non-occupied room, the air conditioning unit was SO noisy. But not in a nice relaxing white noise way. More like it sounded like a tarp flapping in the wind and rattling like crazy. #3) Also, NO HOT WATER!!! Beware! Several nights we let it run for about 20 minutes and it never got hotter than lukewarm. Only one night out of our 5 night stay did we have hot...

"The staff was polite but curt. Not warm and fuzzy. The room was nice enough but the headboard of the bed was peeling and there were scuffs all over the walls. For a Regency, it should have been better maintained"

"Beautiful nostalgic hotel with nice lounging and breakfast areas. Hotel room was spacious, clean and decorated and large bathroom with ample shelving for hygiene products. Great gym as well. Breakfast was excellent with healthy options. Home fries were amazing fresh & tasty. Staff were very friendly and courteous."

"The breakfast staff was excellent, overall the food good but the eggs were terrible! In general reception was good but when we checked in the receptionist was not very “positive “ nor was she welcoming. The young gentlemen and a younger lady (both evening and early AM hours) were fine but our check-in was very underwhelming. Nice location"

"The king suite was perfect for two adults and two children on pullout sofa. Very Comfortable,Clean and spacious. The pool is smaller but has a great seating area. We took advantage of evening snacks and breakfast with made to order omelets. Building is beautiful It was a great visit"

"Our room was comfortable. The only thing to me that lacked was that the TV was too small. It had a nice shower and comfortable bed. I did love the historic atmosphere of the hotel—almost like stepping back in time! It was also convenient to several nice restaurants. Great breakfast we had at the cafe! The check-in, restaurant, and valet staff were very helpful and courteous!"

"We stayed 2 nights while we were attending National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville-we were apprehensive at first since we had our 3 kids with us, however the hotel was perfect and our kids had a great time in the pool. My husband and I would love to come back again for an adult trip to utilize the casino and other amenities."
