"It is a well managed hotel run by Cinnamon. The staff are well trained. The estate is huge, which we did not realise until the last day. You can do all kinds of activities without leaving the hotel The room was nice but every time we take shower, the bathroom floor is flooded. No slope on the shower section. We had to ask for extra floor mats. I caught cold and asked for a thermometer. I was surprised that they did not have one. With dozens of staff working, how can they manage staff health...

"A beautiful resort situated on lake Dumbulla. Very peaceful and quiet with wildlife all around. The swimming pools were exceptional, clean and perfect temperature for the heat and humidity - we could stay in there all day! All the staff are super helpful, friendly and go above and beyond in anything that was asked. Being close to the Rock Fortress was great to be able to get there early before sunrise. Highly recommend staying here."

"It was a strange vibe. The staff were all so lovely, but the person in charge at reception felt like she made everyone bothered. Reception was always chaotic. Even trying to pay our bill was a major carryon with about 3 or 4 people involved. Dining staff were wonderful, dinner was not, though breakfast buffet was very good. Room was tiny and dark, bed very comfy. Bathroom felt bigger than room! Pool was ok, very shallow & not at all like the photos vibe. and pool area terrace etc was...

"We were extremely happy with our 3 nights stay at Gabaa. Staff were superb. All the cabins were hidden amongst the nature, making it must more relaxing and enjoyable. Property was very quiet and had plenty of privacy. Hiruni and Eranda and also everyone else were always available and made our stay memorable. My kids didn’t want to leave the property. Rooms very spacious and AC was worked perfectly. We got some tea and food and they were authentic."
