"Good standard of cleanliness in rooms, beds turned down every night, as well as spraying with repellant every evening. All team were super friendly, especially Joyce, Generozza, Happiness- all first class. "Very welcoming and friendly staff; restaurant went out of their way to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The property is kept very clean and well staffed. If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife "

"Bra hotell med väldigt bra och trevlig personal. Långt ifrån ett lyxhotell men ett härligt och genuint ställe med lugn strand utanför. Andra ställen vi var på Zanzibar var väldigt "turistiga" och vi längtade ofta tillbaka till denna strand då vi reste runt på ön. "

Check in was very impersonal and after a full days travel we were required to line up again to fill out an pay the government tax, surly this can be done anytime during the stay. The person who took us to our room gave us no information about the place room wise or resort wise. They talk a good service ethic but as far as I was concerned service was non existent.
