"Guest house direttamente su una delle bikini beach dell’isola. Stanze spaziose , pulite tutti i giorni, colazione basic ma sufficiente. Il personale molto gentile. Non essendoci auto nell’isola il silenzio non manca. Dal porto dista 3 minuti a piedi ma verranno a prendervi all’ arrivo della barca veloce. Ombrelloni e sdraio costano 5 euro cadauno . "The room was totally different than what’s advertised here. A garden view room has literally NO view at all. Welcome drink was served in a cracked glass. Bed pillows were very uncomfortable. Basic toiletries were not there in the washroom. The tap water was disgustingly smelly. No consideration about hygiene. Not going to recommend this hotel to anyone. Also, the hotel advertises that it has a private beach where as none of the hotel at this particular island has a concept of private beach....

Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives

10/10 Excellent

"We spent 16 wonderful days at the Centara Ras Fushi Resort on Giraavaru. Here is our take on the different aspects of that stay: Giraavaru is in the immediate vicinity of Male in the North Male Atoll. On one side this is good, as it means a very short boat ride for transfer from/to the Airport. On the other side, it means lots of Boat traffic and extreme light pollution from Male and the Commercial/Container Harbour. The House Reef is beautiful, but it is only accessible for Scuba Divers or experienced Snorkelers as the current can be strong and pull you out in the commercial shipping lanes (snorkelers are “required” to wear a life jacket). Very nice resort with several restaurants and bars, as well as a nice offering of Spa, Fitness, Activities and Water Sports. The villas are spacious & nicely appointed and the beds very comfortable. We had a beach Villa with Jacuzzi (completely private and thus very nice for relaxing in your birthday suit after a long day of Scuba Diving) and a private patio with lounge chairs and beach umbrella. The “Over-Water Villas” have direct access to the water, but lack privacy for their Jacuzzis and also, they don’t have umbrellas. The resort is doing much be eco-friendly (solar electricity, coral planting/nursery, reef cleaning days, ...). "Nice resort 1 hour speedboat from Male. Main reason we stayed here was for snorkelling on the house reef which was pretty good, heaps of fish, sharks, rays, octopus and turtles, however the coral is not as healthy as other resorts we have stayed at. Food was good, especially at The Grill. All inclusive drinks list suited us. Staff were excellent and very attentive and spoilt me on my birthday. We had a beach bungalow which was comfortable with great shower, comfortable bed and close to the main restaurant and bar. Overwater bungalows looked good too. Good resort if you don’t want to fly out of Male."

"I travalled with 85 year old disabled mum and 88 year old dad. The staff was very helpfull. they arranged a room closed to the restaurants and a wheelchair for my mum. During the transfers from the airport to the hotel and hotel to the airport, they also assisted us. They arranged everything very professionally. Island and the facilities are very pleasant. Food is very good and diverse cousines are available. Rooms are being cleaned 2 times in a day, every morning and every afternoon.The night acitivites are enjoying. The day time is peaceful. The sea is crystal clear, fishes are colorful, the staff is cheerful, so what can you ask for more... Thanks to all Bandos team."

"This is a very nice affordable hotel near the public beach. The room was clean and the A/C worked. The bed was comfortable. My rate included an à la carte breakfast and shuttle to the airport. The internet was stable. There were a few quirks. You need to unplug the fridge to plug in the kettle. There is a weird threshold into the bathroom that I stumbled over a few times. The exit door leads onto a busy street and cars fly by... I ate dinner in the restaurant and it was a delicious coconut curry. All in all, pretty good. I would stay there again."
