"Our stay at Los Cuatro Olivos Hotel Boutique in the charming mountain town of Juayúa was one of the highlights of our trip to El Salvador.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful, filled with lush tropical plants, antiques, and fascinating architectural details. If you love gardening, architecture, or history, this place is a treasure.
The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed lounging in hammocks and sitting on the patios while taking in the mountain views. One of our favorite memories was eating breakfast while watching the clouds drift through the mountains below us.
Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh whenever we were ready for it. The rooms were spotless, with wonderfully cold air conditioning and reliable hot water—something we quickly learned not to take for granted in El Salvador!
The location is perfect, just up the hill from Juayúa. We walked into town for dinner both nights and even rode a little red taxi back up the hill one evening.
The staff were friendly, unobtrusive, and always available when needed.
One final tip: don't leave without studying the ingenious mechanism that closes the beautiful wooden gates each night. It perfectly reflects the craftsmanship and character of this special property.
We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend Los Cuatro Olivos to anyone visiting Juayúa."
