"Lovely comfortable room and great breakfast with fresh local produce. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the proprietor was a great host and our room was nice."

"Location was great a top a hill with great views. The guy at the front was very useful. However, dog barked continuously for about 1.5 hours around 2 am until I had to call to have it brought in. No-one served breakfast from 8am, waited till 9am then had to visit another B&B at a cost of 200 TRY. Dog poo or chicken poo all over the pool. Stayed one night and checked out early. Much nicer properties around."

"Affordability, i love the pillows and blankets, minutes to Basmane Izmir train station, lots of little shops, coffee shops, places to eat. Also breakfast was great!"

"Always a great place to stay"

"We were offered a stay at the owner's sister's suites. It was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable and it had a balcony with a nice view of the town. She along with her son and brother were extremely accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Urkmez hotel is within a few minutes of the train station and restaurants."
