"Lovely Hotel , very clean and fab room but could of done with a bigger room with our Grandson.! Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. A tiny fridge would be helpful in the room but over all we had a lovely stay at the Birdham. What a lovely part of the Island Bembridge is, in my opinion the nicest exception apart from the Needles. Bembridge has lovely quiet beaches to visit and we found the people very friendly. Was a wonderful week🙂"

"Really enjoyed my stay. From start to end it was truly amazing and such a issue-free experience. The staff was all very kind, helpful and professional. Breakfast was a delight every morning and the pool in the afternoon was the cherry on top. The hotel is very charming and carries a relaxed feel. The location was by far my favourite in the whole island."

"Location was good. Chalet was very dated, but OK. Shower leaked and the bathroom smelt of mouldy water. Outdoor swimming pool was great, but good if it could open later in summer. Main bar and entertainment were great for kids, but drinks were far too expensive - there's just no need for it! Arcade was hit-and-miss. Lots of machines didn't work, but never anyone around to help when you needed them. Good to visit, but won't be rushing back."

"It was very hot and they forgot to put a fan in my room but when ask one was supplied, the doors on the outside keep banging when other guests coming or going and the noise from some bikes rasing on the street below my window kept me up a long time during the night but the staff in the restaurant and hotel are great."

"We booked a one night stay in the Albert Room. Room was very nice, particularly the wonderful sea views, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Bathroom was spacious and featured a double rainfall shower. Towels were soft and felt quite new. The room has a large terrace with sun loungers and chairs, but no privacy from the other rooms on the same level. Hotel has a well maintained car park. "Great location just a couple of minutes from the beach. Tucked away in a quiet area. Good parking for a motorbike. All staff friendly and helpful. Room had all you needed. Large fan was a godsend. Breakfast cooked to order and delicious. Indoor pool lovely. Even has a brilliant private snooker room. Would stay again for next IOW visit."

"Very dated decor and in need of complete renovation. Walls and ceilings of bedroom were pale and faded magnolia / white with painted over cracks in ceiling. Rooms very warm (no aircon) and only a cheap plastic desk fan to cool them down. "The property is listed as luxury cottages. The picture looked as if it has sea view. There was no wifi and the very limited mobile data connection. We had to come to the decking area for signal. The next property was separated by plants. The guests were so loud and sat outside most of the time so we had to be indoors and keep the door and windows shut for some peaceful time. The view was a wall of plants. It was a nice cozy cottage but should not be advertised as 'luxury'."
