"Stayed for 6 days using the motel as base for activities in and around Cedar City. I have paid more per day for a lot less in terms of quality. My room was comparable to what you would pay 3 or 4 times as much in a good quality Hotel. Conveniently located for access to the freeway and there are local options for dining out. Walmart Superstore 5 minutes drive. The included breakfast is of the cereal & waffle type. Now if they had done a full english (bacon, sausages, eggs) that would have been...

"When I travel with my dogs I love a motel with the room door leading outside, instead of a long hallway. The decor is pretty and sort of odd, classic. I liked it. I rated less than perfect because of a minor cleanliness issue in the room and because the area outside is poorly maintained, no real place to take the dogs to go - just a bricked patio overgrown with weeds. Not a show-stopper at all, just could be improved. I would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent rooms, clean, and the staff was great. We had a problem with the tv in our room and they came up right away to try and fix it but couldn’t so they moved us to another room. The breakfast wasn’t great, but it was ok. There was a nice bbq restaurant next to the hotel that we ate at a couple of times and it was excellent as well. "

"The Magnussen is an older building, but well maintained. We have stayed here nearly every year for the past 7 years to attend the Shakespeare Festival. It's very reasonable price wise, walking distance to said festival, and the owner(s) (Mehda?) and staff are friendly, accommodating, and responsive. We will be staying here every year as long as we are attending the festival!"

"Stunning, unique place to stay with lovely hosts! Comfortable room and food is available locally until very late, even on a weeknight. The only drawback was no A/C in our room but the weather was mild, so it was fine :)"
