"I grew up in the town and moved off 40 years ago. Drove by it many times over the years and always wanted to check it out. Don't expect new and shiny but if you want to experience how it used to be - then book here."

"The hot tub was not working, again, upon our 2nd family trip/stay. We had no in-hotel access to ice or amenities, without going outdoors, and entering back into the main portion of the hotel. And there was no in-room telephone, with which to contact the main desk, or anyone at all."

"Some lite were burn out-not working, No coffee cups for coffee-desk clerk said cups were on order. I came back to my room at 4:30 pm to change shirts, my door was proped open, maid cart was nearby. I went into room, no one was around, changed shirts and left. I returned to room at 9:00 pm for the evening, room door was STILL PROPED OPEN!!!!! No one was around. That is a breach of security, forturnatly nothing was missing. I will NEVER stay at another property owned by there people!!! A...
