Not the cleanest but……all we did was sleep and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. It was sooooo quiet so we got good sleep. Not the ritz but to just sleep…it was ok

Run down motel, watch out for overcharging

I chose this place because it was listed as pet friendly. I declared my two dogs when I checked in. The fee is supposed to be $10 per dog. The clerk charged me $45 for my dogs and then wrote down 3 pets on the invoice. I said I only had two dogs and asked if he was charging me incorrectly for three pets. He said no, the correct charge was $45. It was late and I was too tired to argue. I believe he ripped me off. Sure, it's only $10 or so, but I'll never stay here again.

The whole hotel was hot and smelly, the lobby floor was dirty, the plumbing in the room didn’t work, both the sink or the tub. They changed my room to one with working plumbing, but then had problems with the door lock. Overall a nightmare.

We couldn't even stay 2 nights. We didn't feel like we could even bathe there it was so bad. The room smelled, the towels did not look clean, the toilet was disgusting. I will not stay there ever again.

Not happy at all

Not great at all eneded up leaving and not even using our free night stay. The guy couldnt figure out where our reservatiin was or how to do it even thought i told him the refrence number with who and all that took phone out of my hand without asking wouldnt give that back or id.

You get what you pay for.

The room was clean but not well put together. I couldn't get 3/4 lamps to work. There were large nails hanging out of the wall, the bathtub was cracked. The hallway was not air conditioned. Otherwise it was safe, comfortable, and quiet. You get what you pay for.

The facility was ok. The room was old but clean. The bathroom was clean but run down and the hot water was just luke warm. There were mot many people staying there and it was very quiet. There was no phone in the room///but a phone book. The light fixture on the wall between the two double beds was malfunctioning. The price of the room was cheap enough.

Dont stay here!

A real flop house! Friday and Saturday night lukewarm showers. Sunday night no hot water. Saturday when i got back to my room the door was OPEN. My room was not made up my whole stay! Bed not made, no clean towels, trash not emptied. Second worst hotel stay of my 60 year plus life.

Keep expectations manageable

The hotel was clean enough, the staff friendly. Hotel is definitely showing its age. Spots in the hallway where water was leaking. TV remote didn't have batteries, and TV didn't turn on without remote.

Dirty nasty place. Blood stains on shower curtain beds 40 years old. Place was a dump. Didn’t even stay. Didn’t get my money back. Was only there 1 hour. Wish someone would give me my money back

Older motel with a curry atmosphere. It'll do.

So, I've read the reviews & there is a bit of drama people engage in when coming across a no-tel motel such as this. It is the "Sunset Motel". At midnight, you are bound to be met by an old guy (with curry wafting in the air). It took 10 minutes to check in. The exterior of the place needs some slight attention, but we were there to just get some sleep. We were assigned room 123. The attempt at updating the room has fallen short, but it was clean (not "Hilton clean"... but no bed bugs, beds were made & were comfortable enough). The bathroom worked & was clean (in a Puerto Rico kind of way), but we found the water to be sketchy enough to avoid taking a shower or to brush ones teeth. Creepy people in the parking lot was actually minimal. I'd give the place 4 stars out of 10.... it does the job of providing basic services. Would i choose it again for a quick $47 place to stay? Yup. I will just brush my teeth at the 1st rest area we stop by after that. :)

I was the only person in this hotel, nobody is ever at the desk when I walk in or out. The place feels like I’m back in the 80’s. The bedding looks like it’s from the 80’s also nothing new about it. The toilet rarely flushed the shower is outdated the drain looks disgusting. The carpet and chair are old. Refrigerator in the room, and I had a New unopened water bottle inside of refrigerator. when I left for the day, when I came back the following night the room was made and my water was STOLEN!! it wasn’t in the refrigerator anymore! Wow STAY AWAY from here.

The room was terrible, dirty,duct tape and packaging tape around the windows bugs in the bathtub old water bottles in the refrigerator. We did not stay there,we drove home. We not reccomend anyone to stay there.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY EVER. THE BEST THING ABOUT IT WAS LEAVING IT. THE WATER IN THE LAVATORY, BATH AND COMMODE WAS A VERY DARK BROWN---NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU FLUSHED THE COMMODE. THE MANAGER POINTED OUT THAT THERE WAS DRINKING WATER IN A CONTAINER IN THE LOBBY---BUT IT LOOKED DIRTY TOO. THE PLACE WAS DILAPIDATED AND TOUT DINGY. THE MAN WHO SHARED THE ROOM WITH ME AGREED THAT THERE WAS NO WAY HE WOULD TAKE A BATH THERE MUCH LESS SHAVE OR WASH HIMSELF IN THE LAVATORY. THIS WAS THE WORST THAT EITHER MY ROOMMATE OR I HAD EVER SEEN. THE OUTSIDE APPEARANCE WAS A MESS AS WELL. THE GUTTERS WERE ALL BENT AND THERE WAS TRASH EVERYWHERE. DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURE THAT GOES WITH THIS OFFERING. THE ONLY REASON WE STAYED WAS THAT WE ARRIVED LATE AND HAD NO OTHER OPTIONS OTHER THAN SLEEPING IN OUR CAR. DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
