"Peaceful location with a friendly, helpful staff. Wi-Fi was good. Room was clean with a mini-fridge but no in-room coffee maker. There is coffee in the lobby during late night hours which works for me, but it makes more sense if it was available in the morning instead. The breakfast buffet is good value in the on-site Toll Road Restaurant. I didn’t use the pool. Lodging is closer to Hwy 395 access. "Very nice classic hotel with beautiful gardens in the center of Death Valley. The building is very well maintained with mid-century period decor and our room was large and comfortable. The spring fed pool is always 80deg and there is a convenient sauna but no hot tub, unfortunately since it’s cold when sun sets. Probably the best place to stay in Death Valley. "
