"Internet service very poor and no cell service"

"It was a disappointing stay at the habour view room at la dique. The room smelt foul. Mattress was old and soft. Bed sheet was rough from over washed and used. Sink water drainage was slow. "

"The stay was great! It was an overnight stay for us. We had a nice dinner at the resort and enjoyed some live celtic music. The food, service and staff were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that the outside grounds were not kept up, but this could be because we were early in the system and they may not have had an opportunity to get at the spring cleanup."

"We were greeted by the friendly owners who not only checked us in but also gave us wonderful recommendations about Cheticamp, local restaurants and hiking trails in the Cape Breton Highlands Park. We could walk out our motel door and walk 10 minutes to some of the hiking trails in the park. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. "Access to a spectacular beach is a highlight of this property. These are nice self-catering cottages that include a BBQ. The working mini-lighthouse that marks the driveway is a nice touch, it helps find the way back at night."

"I stayed here for a total of 2 weeks separated into 2 blocks for the conclusion of my work project in Cheticamp. The cottage is very cozy the bed is that perfect level of comfort. It is a cottage so expect to encounter flies from time to time; that's just par for the course. Angela the owner is a very kind person and great to chat with!
