"We really liked it stay at this hotel. It may be the closest hotel to the train station in Wengen; literally not more than 200m! Our room for a family of 4 was quite spacious; in fact there was space for 6 people. The breakfast was good but not as good as some of the other places we stayed at in Switzerland. The bathroom was basic and our shower head was a bit askew."

"Parking is in a city around 1000 meters below Mürren. You have to 10 CHF for parking per day as well as 23.40 CHF round trip to use the Gondola unles you want to commit to a 3 hour hike. After you take the Gondola then hotel is only. 1/4 mile walk up hill to the Grand Palace. Hotel also had no A/C. The hotel itself is beautiful with friendly staff and a gorgeous view of the alps. "

"Gave us a shuttle bus service from the train station and fixed problem as soon as possible such as a failed security deposit box and gave a breakfast-to-go since the restaurant opened later than we can use."

"Beautiful classic old hotel in Wengen. Close to the railway station. Good buffet breakfast. We got an upgrade to a corner room with spectacular views of the mountains. Electrical could do with upgrading although everything worked. Staff were very pleasant"

"We had a speedy checkin with welcoming reception staff. The hotel location was ideal for our short stay in Interlaken. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Although the rooms are not air-conditioned we appreciated the provision of a fan in the room. We're happy to recommend based on our experience. "

"My stay here far exceeded my expectations and I did wonder whether there was anything else I would suggest, but there was nothing I would add. As a solo traveller I found the hotel to be very accommodating and would return here with friend and family. The breakfast was good and had options for different dietary requirements, although if you’re vegan it may be worth double checking ingredients with the team. "Our family occupied the whole room with 3 bunk beds… adequate space, no elevator. Clean toilets but no hot shower in the early morning during our stay. Staff are friendly. "
