"The exterior facilities like the pool and breakfast room were in good order. The actual bedroom was a disappointment. The first room the toilet didn't work. The front desk gentleman got us a second room. The second room the water was running brown and rusty. The shower dripped with hardly any pressure. The young man helped us changed to the third room. Finally the third room all the plumbing worked, but the bathroom door handle was broken, the hot and cold water shower tabs were reversed and were looking broken as well, but by then we were too tired to ask to change to the 4th room. It seems that the hotel management was not putting much effort in the upkeep or maintenance of the rooms.
Breakfast at least was good, with freshly cooked eggs to your order. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to test it out. The hotel was not as active as the others on the same block. Perhaps the words about the poorly maintained rooms had gotten around?"
