"Property is very rundown in the halls. Carpet needs to be replaced. Bathtubs need to be replaced. The price they charged is what Marriott charges in the USA. This place at best is maybe 31/2 star. Staff is very friendly and courteous. "

"I booked an executive room in this hotel during my recent visit to Manali. Following in my personal View about this hotel. 1 :- Hotel was too expensive considering the services. Vert Pathatic service. 2:- Food quality was worst. No taste. Cold food was served even during buffet. 3:- Very Un-Professional staff. Do not know what grocessery to put on dinning table. "Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. "Looks like they never did any room maintennace since the british left! Almost fell into toilet due to detatched seat cover. Door bolts broken. Never got a wifi or 3G signal in the room. Smelled of phenyl. Had Lawns were a highlight. Restaurant food and staff were also great. Other lower level staff was quite reasonable. Management is far below par. "

"We had the most comfortable and wonderful stay at the hotel. We were there for His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday celebration. The location was perfect—close to the main temple—with an amazing view from our room. The room was bright and modern, making it easy to relax without feeling pressure to go out. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful in every way. The next time we visit Dharamshala, we are definitely staying here again!"
