"This was a 1 night stay prior to a longer booking, in a basic room. I was also here last year. Don’t be scared of a solo trip, the people are fantastic and you will be made to feel very welcome and not alone. The guests are hit and miss, some are a bit rowdy, some doing photo shoots the whole time but it’s easy to find some quiet space. Most are couples in their 30s. "Hersonissos is very chill. My hotel was fabulous- did not see a need to go out to clubs, etc., except for excursions, as it was all inclusive. There was nightly entertainment, 5 pools, several restaurants, and my own private beach. Very kid/family friendly as well as singles. "

Die Speisen im Haupt-Speisesaal (Buffet) waren z.T. besser als bei den Themen-Restaurants, wo man im Voraus reservieren muss. "Lovely setting, right on the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly, food very good for buffet and three al a Carte restaurant meals included. Room was a good size and separate area for teenage kids ideal. Only half hour drive from Heraklion airport and parking free at hotel. We rented a car as late flight and wanted to get to hotel ASAP. Car rental cheaper than private transfer and easy drive. Paid for late check out as return flight not till after 11pm and was well worth it."
