"We were really positively surprised with the hotel. We booked it randomly shortly before our stay and the price was quite reasonable for us (family of 5). We didn't expect much since we simply needed a base near Colmar. Quite family friendly, perfectly located (15 min by bike to Colmar), but nicely isolated from the tourist crowds. Perfect place to stay with family and to explore surroundings."

"Nette und freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen sind stets ansprechbar und helfen zu einem unbeschwerten Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt super stadtnah, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der kostenlose Stadtbus hilft dabei auch noch. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Einfach ein toller Urlaub! Es empfiehlt sich, einen Parkplatz zu buchen."

"Everything was as expected"

"In the heart of Little Venice and very walkable to restaurants, museums and parking. The half-timbered hotel is quaint with unique hallways and rooms including beamed and sloped ceilings. On the third floor, our particular bathroom was a bit difficult to navigate with a sloped, beamed ceiling and only an open garden with handheld shower wand. It made for interesting mornings when getting ready for the day. I suggest asking about shower/tub facilities in the room you may choose. Although...

"We enjoyed our stay. It is in the heart of town and the pedestrian area. It was hot weather (80 degrees). We had two rooms. One the air-conditioning works great and the other one the air-conditioning couldn’t keep up. We asked for a new room and got a room with great air conditioning. So if your room is warm when you check in ask for another room."

"The staff went far beyond helpful beginning with making reservations for dinner. The Belman put us and most of our luggage on the lift then ran out of room. He then carried the rest up the stairs and met us with a smile. The service at the hotel bistro was equally excellent and friendly. The food was delicious A great one night visit, I wish it had been longer"

"The room had good amenities and was comfortable. The only drawback was the shower door had a 10cm gap so water came out. The breakfast was great and d the staff very helpful."
