"The hotel is new and desperately short-staffed. The employees just could not keep up with the number of people... and there weren't that many people to begin with. There was a shortage of clean tables at the buffet; plates and glasses ran out quickly, and the omelet stations were slow. They need more staff, but most of all training.
When I arrived, they couldn't find my reservation, because it turned out that my reservation was manually put under another name, and that name remained "my name" the entire week because they didn't want to go through the trouble of correcting it. After that, before finally being able to rest in my room, they took me to two other rooms because one was a double, no balcony, and I had paid for a King w/ balcony and ocean view; and then the other room they gave me wasn't ready. We arrived, and the bed and room were completely undone. It was frustrating."
