"Room was clean but unfortunately my door had issues which cause me a lot of inconvenience before checking out supervisor of the security was not so polite. I made a special request and they was not responsive to it… it was a birthday celebration and nothing was done am not pleased most staff are good though and good food"

"Nice staff , Shower was a disappointment tub was slippery bed and pillows very uncomfortable , food was decent alcohol was all bottom shelf if you wanted a decent drink you have to pay , very small section of beach is available for guests ,if you’re looking for fun or nightlife this isn’t it …pretty sleepy after 8 pm , spa was very nice . good location avoid beach on days when the cruise ships come in .very packed .too many rules for a “luxury ‘ stay "

"Getting wash clothes and hand towels was like pulling teeth called three days in a row and none were ever in our room. Got to the resort no towels in room. They brought bath towels that they didn’t replace the 8 days we were there. Also room service never replaces shampoo soap etc. I prefer to wash my body and shower on daily. This should be the normal. I shouldn’t have to even ask. "

"Considering the resort was devastated in the hurricane 6 months ago, the property was in very good condition. They continue to renovate but it was not disruptive to our vacation at all. The grounds were kept well manicured and maintained. Housekeeping kept our rooms very clean. The restaurant and buffet staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming - always smiling and very quick to fulfil any request. The entertainment crew were great - really enjoyed their shows!!! "Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Property and room very clean. Food inconsistent, ranges from a “B” to an “A minus.” When we were there the property was at 100% capacity, which created real problems finding a beach chair. Same with the restaurants. If you weren’t in line by 5:45 your seating could not occur for nearly two hours. Could be due to staff shortages due to the hurricane. "

"Lovely resort right in the beach. Not too big and you can even go over to the other Riu resort down the beach and eat there too with your all-inclusive bracelet. The beach is AMAZING. Drinks are great, food is good overall. Highly recommend reserving a dinner at the Steak House- our favourite of the restaurants there. Staff were always helpful. Can’t wait to go back!"
