"What a place!! We stayed as a family of 4 (2 children 10/12) in an Oceanfront view room. Large double bed and 2 day beds for the kids! Clean and well appointed with a daily freshen up! We had the best time. So relaxing! A much calmer/quieter stretch of coastline (away from the busyness of Hiriketiya/ Weligama etc. Nice infinity pool to laze about in and plenty of sun loungers/cabanas for sunning, reading, drinking. Ocean, beach and waves were amazing, however, there are some serious rips/currents in the water so you may only be able to paddle around. No water sports. You can however do plenty of day trips (fishing), Udawalawa (to see the Elephants), to other beaches where you can surf/snorkel, cooking classes and Galle (old fort town - with hundreds of shops, cafe’s and restaurants. There is a good breakfast included in the cost of your room and a nice menu for lunch and evening meals. Plus there is a lovely family run restaurant across the street serving the best homemade currys and fish (caught by the family), plus a few others in walking distance. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help! We will be back! "

"A beautiful property with very attentive and considerate staff. The area itself was very quiet. If you are looking for somewhere with a lot of shops/restaurants in walking distance, this is not the property for you. But the quiet was a nice change of pace for 2 nights on our journey. "

"Outstanding hotel! Loved everything about it. We were visiting for 1 night to do the safari (which was also fab) but wished we stayed another night just to chillax!! Was nicely surprised that their dining prices were no more expensive (in fact cheaper in some cases) than other equivalent properties in Sri Lanka given the remoteness & no other options! Food & staff were great. Lovely pool. Highly recommend."

"Stayed at this hotel for one night. Went to another hotel in Yala. Was not pleased with what I saw. My family and I turned around and went back to stay here for another night. Very clean hotel, very polite staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Weerawila. Keep up the great work!!! :) "

"This is an amazing hotel, everything is very special. Rooms are clean and spacious and with lovely views and lots of natural light. The facilities such as the pool and the spa are fantastic. The restaurant really yummy and lovely atmosphere. The staff members are extraordinary. Our son doesn’t want to go anywhere else 😂. He keeps saying, nothing is like the HiltonYala ❤️"
