"Amazing location, close to everything. Morning breakfast was excellent."

"Upon arrival, I discovered that parking is only available 250 meters from the hotel and I had to drag my luggage uphill. At the reception, I was told that as a Gold member, I am not entitled to late check-out and would have to pay 6000 HUF for it. The room was old and smelled bad. I do not recommend this hotel."

"Smart looking hotel in former convent, in Spain/Portugal this would be a Parador/Pousada but it might need a bit of spruce to get up to 5 stars. Atmospheric place and a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful, location is bang in the centre next to the river, about 10 mins from the rail station."

"Gyor is a beautiful city within a 2 hour drive of Budapest. Definitely worth stopping! This hotel was perfect. The only drawback was that there was not lift which was difficult for my 78 year old mother. We managed and were very impressed with the property, the staff and breakfast the following morning. I would definitely come back to this hotel for a future visit. "

"The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options available after 8 (eventhough it's finishing at 10:30)."
